This application portal for the 2023 funding cycle opens on August 14, 2023. 

Proposals are due on October 13, 2023 by 5:00 PM Pacific Time. 

Deadline note: all proposals must have been initiated (with a brief eligibility form completed) by 5:00 PM on October 11. The system does not allow any new entries after this time. For proposals already started by this cutoff, applicants will have until 11:59 PM to submit all final materials. We offer this grace period to help troubleshoot any submission or platform hurdles. Please contact us at seedteam@citris-uc.org with any issues, we are actively monitoring this account and are here to assist you with a successful proposal. 

Guidance for applicants: 

• If this is your first time submitting a proposal, please click the grey "Register" button at the top of the next page. 
• Otherwise, please use your prior account to log in and submit a new proposal. 
• We recommend the lead principal investigator (PI) initiate the online application for each proposal team. While not required, this step can make the submission and award correspondence easier for your team.  
• Within the application form, there will be a clickable option to give co-PIs and assistants the ability to view or edit the proposal draft. 
• Please use the primary UC campus email addresses for all included PIs to ensure messages are received.
